The chicken run
One of our lovely customers, Dawn, was so pleased with her rubber chippings for chickens that she sent us some before and after pictures – and we agree with Dawn – it looks lovely!
Before
The site could get quite boggy and dirty in wet weather, so the investment in rubber chippings was a wise one.
After
Not only is the site now very pleasing to the eye, it also has some other benefits:
- The rubber chippings do not rot
- They do not blow away
- They do not hold moisture
- They dry very quickly
- They are easy to clean
- They are hygienic
Regular hosing down will keep the chippings in good condition and provides the chickens with a clean and dust-free environment.
We know that chickens love a good old dust bath and this can be easily created using an old tyre, some soil and grit mix, so the chickens can still indulge in a spot of pampering (ok, cleaning!)
Colours
Our chippings come in a range of colours so you can be just as creative as you like! If you can’t decide between green and terracotta why not have a mix of both?
