Transforming an outdoor rest area with recycled rubber chipping
Our 20mm rubber chipping is made from recycling used vehicle tyres. This is done by a series of specially engineered recycling machines that granulate the tyres into different sizes. They then pass through a separating line that removes the wire and smaller chippings.
Day Nursery Play Surfaces
Our client asked us to remove their existing play surface – which was worn out, bland and unattractive. The original surface had rubber tiles to cover holes in it, which created trip hazards. They wanted a new play surface that was safe, colourful and recycled. Terracotta resin bound crumb with blue splashes was selected as the play surface.

Chicken run rubber – happy feet for chickens!
Our rubber chippings are used as a safe, clean and colourful alternative to chicken run floors and take away the sticky, messy mud-clad result that the Great British weather can have on your chickens feet.
Transforming outdoor play with our recycled rubber wetpour
Our client asked us if they could have a terracotta wetpour surface with some blue splashes in. The reason for this is that they wanted to encourage outdoor play and to stimulate the children’s’ imagination. They wanted the old surface removing and disposing of.
Landscaping – our latest project
When used in a landscaping setting the permeable material allows the rainwater to seep quickly through the rubber and into the soil structure, with the added benefit of the rubber covering the soil there is a slower process of the rainwater drying out.
